About a month ago the United Methodist Commission on the Status and Role of Women published a blog post from me about what it is like to be a female pastor in a new start. In the conversations about the post I was writing I shared with Jenn, the staffer from the commission, that our daughter had felt really left out when the video from United Methodist Communications about our new community hadn’t talked about her role when they spoke about Jeff and I.
